Background
intu (formerly Capital Shopping Centres) came into being in 2013 as part of a holistic rebrand programme. The intu estate incorporates 18 shopping centres in prime locations throughout the UK and attracts over 400 million shoppers every year.

Brief
intu recognised that their Customer Service Desks are key touch-points for their brand, so they wanted them redesigned to bring their new brand values to life: visibility, playfulness and being able to provide the perfect shopping experience.

Solution
Firstly, we were able to enlarge the physical footprint of the existing Customer Service Desk, transforming them into immersive customer service zones. We designed these zones to have a bold and playful aesthetic. This breaks down the physical barriers between staff and shoppers and creates opportunities for stronger connections and enhanced experiences.
