Pizza Express opened its first restaurant in 1965 and has since become a household name throughout the UK as one of the largest and most well-respected restaurant chains on the high street.
Brief
To create branded environments for each individual Pizza Express restaurant, giving them their own unique own style and personality, whilst retaining a consistent Pizza Express brand.
Solution
We designed and delivered distinctive environments that are specific and relevant to each restaurant’s individual location by drawing on the history of the site, the local area or of famous local residents, past and present, for inspiration.Our designs included bespoke environmental graphics, 3D components and installations, furniture, lighting, colour finishes and material palettes, so that the combination of the elements total provided Pizza Express staff and customers with an authentic and individual dining experience.
